From Gucci to Saint Laurent, this season’s must-have boots tick all the right style boxes.
While we might never have certified ‘boot weather’ here in the UAE, there’s no denying a good pair of boots is a winter wardrobe staple. The good news is that this season, there’s a plethora of new and unique styles to choose from.
While black will always reign supreme when it comes to the humble boot, this season’s styles come in a whole range of colours and prints. Croc and snakeskin were huge, with Roland Mouret sending black knee highs down the runway with a glossy feel and a soft mock croc print. If that’s too OTT for you, there is a whole host of ankle-length versions about, too.
Another trend which has been spotted on the runway courtesy of the likes of Bottega Veneta and Stella McCartney is the white boot. Retro? Yes. Achingly-stylish? Also yes. If you don’t already own a pair, it’s time to add them to your repertoire.
Super-soled stomper boots are also everywhere for A/W’20, which is great news for those worried about squeezing back into boots after months of slippers while we’ve been WFH.
