The Holy Month of Ramadan is almost upon us and a plethora of fashion Houses have released capsule collections to mark the occasion. Joining the sartorial party is Prada, whose glittering capsule is dedicated to Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
The city comes alive at night during the Holy Month; it is this vibrancy that Prada has captured for its Ramadan capsule collection. Saudi model Amira Al Zuhair fronts the campaign which experiments with juxtaposition; light and dark, indoors and outdoors, real and out of this world. Playing with a nocturnal palette, ready-to-wear and accessories are awash with sky blues, deep navy and black, made all the more magical with crystal embroideries akin to twinkling stars. A selection of daytime hues also make an appearance – think mint, blush and white – to interrupt the sultry shades.
