Paris Fashion Week is home to some of the most traditional and longstanding luxury brands. It subsequently remains the slowest when it comes to developing digital elements for its gilded runways. However Cypriot-British fashion house Chalayan has partnered with Intel to bring wearable technology to their spring/summer 2017 collection.

Hussein Chalayan famously once said: “Only with technology can you create new things in fashion”. Today, he delivered. Models walked the runway alongside a medley of visual projections. They wore Intel Curie module glasses, which gathered biometric data from three sensors: one to monitor brainwave activity; one to record heart rate; and one to detect breathing rhythms.

The overall data revealed each model’s stress levels, which was showcased behind the runway in various kaleidoscopic visualisations. Check out the above gallery to read five standout trends MOJEH loved about the show.
