One the region's most recognised design talents has launched a unique pop-up boutique in Dubai...
You might want to get your credit cards out for this one. Middle Eastern designer Madiyah Al Sharqi, is exclusively giving us an inside look of her universe through a pretty-in-pink pop-up space that beautifully carries her Spring/Summer '19 collection.
Set in the heart of Facilité – the multi-dimensional concept space – the temporary pop-up shop perfectly encapsulates the brand’s whimsical, yet contemporary, aesthetic.
And honestly, if the space looks this good then imagine the collection.
Displayed delicately on brass rails and creamy marble blocks is Madiyah Al Sharqi's newest collection, plus limited-edition designs for the season.
Looking towards the iconic style figure, former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, for inspiration, the regional designer experimented with pastel palettes, statement silhouettes and playful rich fabrics for the S/S19 season.
Combining paisley, gingham and leather separates, influences from the Sixties era were vividly present through puff-sleeved jackets, flared trousers, silk mini cami dresses and one-shouldered sequin embroidered dresses, too.
Highlighting Madiyah Al Sharqi's expertise in elevated daywear, the UAE national also launched an embroidered cotton shirt that read "It's Been A Dream" to commemorate Jackie Kennedy's 1962 visit to India.
