"Such aristocratic grace is precisely at the heart of the collection: gold triumphs in precious fabrics and fil coupé lamé; it illuminates silk shantung with dazzling shine, it reveals unexpected luminescence on sumptuous velvets… Above all, it transforms the Miss Dior dress into a unique creation, halfway between a garment and a jewel,” Maria Grazia Chiuri revealed during our interview for MOJEH's March issue. The Dior designer's words – illuminates, dazzling and most importantly transform – feel particularly pertinent right now. A point in which dark clouds are beginning to lift and we can feel hopeful once again.
The new season’s fashion mirrors this, with clothes that hint towards the optimism and sunshine that’s to come, while arming us with the confidence and buoyancy to boldly brave the new world. Think: Joyful dresses in canary yellow, bright pink and emerald green, replete with cascading fabrics that demand plenty of movement; a new twist on athleisure that’s all at once feminine and gloriously preppy; and sequins for day (who is ready to lounge around the living room in oversized sequin tailoring and loose-fit silver dresses? I, for one, can’t wait). This issue is packed with collection round-ups and fun-filled photoshoots that I hope will inject delight into your springtime wardrobes.
This month also marks a decade of MOJEH Magazine. That’s 10 years of homegrown, tailormade content carefully curated with you, the woman that calls the GCC home, in mind. We blazed a new trail for regional fashion and publishing, smashed the glass ceiling, and alongside my team, I made a commitment to offer only the highest standards in both style and content. Because why should you settle for anything less? It’s certainly not been an easy decade for publishing, and I thank each and every one of our loyal readers and clients for their continued support and encouragement.
I’m proud to be part of our ever-evolving industry, and indeed my great hope for the next decade is that regional designers, entrepreneurs and leading voices (many of whom feature in this month’s issue) will continue to inspire our pages, month after month.

In March I’m looking forward to anything that sparks joy… starting with the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival. The theme to this year’s Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival is ‘Hope’, with some 120+ works all celebrating hope and its promises of possibilities in the face of adversity – the perfect theme for an imperfect year.
When Prada announced that Raf Simons would be joining Miuccia Prada as co-creative director I mused over what two of fashion's biggest forces would bring to the runways. A new lease of life for the logo, Peter De Potter graphics, the return of the wrap-around… and I'm sold. See their vision in our fashion story, Under Her Spell, in our March issue.
Expected to both comfort and enthral, I'll be indulging in one of these poems each day throughout March.
Dubai's art season kicks off with Art Dubai running from 17-20 March, and I'm most looking forward to the Contemporary section, including Custot Gallery.
