Yep, it's official! Marc Jacobs is married. And although a celebration of love, his wedding brought a whole lot of fashion, too...

Over the weekend, American fashion designer Marc Jacobs, officially got married to his long-time partner in New York City. And to say that the star-studded nuptials were private and intimate, would be an understatement. In part due to garnering success since his creative directorship at Louis Vuitton in 1997, and eventually leaving his post after 15 years to focus on his eponymous label, Marc Jacobs is truly a man who knows everyone (and we mean, everyone) in the business.

Case in point: his New York City reception held at The Grill had a guestlist that consisted of industry royalty including supermodels Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Helena Christensen, Christy Turlington and Amber Valletta. But that's not all. A slew of other famous faces including the Hadid sisters, Anna Wintour, Kaia Gerber and Rachel Zoe, were present for the occasion too.

So, what do you get when you attend a wedding you know is going to incorporate glittering chandeliers, dance performances, a five-tier wedding cake and a few (ok, a lot) of paparazzi? A list of impeccably dressed guests.

Original supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss turned up in style (obviously) to Marc Jacobs' reception venue. Both close friends (and muses) of the designer, Naomi wore a studded sheer floor-length cape and trousers by Balmain's Olivier Rousteing and jewellery by Lebanese-born designer, Samer Halimeh. Kate opted for a long-sleeve, burgundy vintage number by Janice Wainwright.

Adding a modern (yet '70s) twist to wedding attire, the Palestinian-American sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid, arrived hand-in-hand, in distinct monochromatic looks. Whilst Bella opted for a navy corset-peplum top, high-waisted trousers and lace Christian Louboutin pumps, Gigi chose an olive two-piece suit, a sheer high-neck top and to top it off, a Panama Boa silver fedora by Moroccan hat designer, Youssef Lahlou. Plus, she finished off the look with a bright yellow Water Snake Caterina bag by Ximena Kavalekas.

Cindy Crawford's off-spring Kaia Gerber (also the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty) gave a nod to the '80s with an oversized suit jacket and trousers from the designer's Spring/Summer '19 collection. French fashion model Cindy Bruna effortlessly showed up in a metallic ensemble by LaQuan Smith.

Amber Valletta kept it cool and sophisticated in a classic LBD and a white coat whilst Emily Ratajkowski channeled Kate Hudson in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days with her metallic yellow dress by Copenhagen-based womenswear brand, Saks Potts.

Anna Wintour slayed her signature short bob and dark sunnies as she strutted into Marc Jacobs' wedding reception in a purple floral number. Rachel Zoe looked like an Arabian princess with a sea-foam green coloured shimmering kaftan. The fashion icon paired her look with a pair of Brian Atwood platform heels.

Rita Ora – a firm front-row favourite at Marc Jacobs' shows – stood out in a vintage Saint Laurent strapless gown, and paired it with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery – a look courtesy of her stylist, Karen Clarkson. Erika Jayne fronted an ensemble straight from Marc Jacobs' Spring/Summer '19 runway collection.

Congratulations Marc Jacobs!
