From see-through to sequins, sheer dresses were the breakout trend of the 2024 Met Gala
The 2024 Met Gala took place on Monday 6 May and celebrities were asked to adhere to a Garden of Time dress code in-keeping with the Costume Institute’s exhibition Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, which showcases archival and never-before-seen pieces; the dress code is a symbol of the fragility of nature and the rare designs on display. The breakout trend of the red carpet was sheer ensembles, whether crafted from nude fabric, skin-baring sequins or completely see-through (the latter of which was demonstrated by Doja Cat, whose NSFW look took both everyone and no-one by surprise). Here, MOJEH rounds-up the sheer looks we loved.
