Maria Grazia Chiuri embraces her playful side with the Dioramour capsule collection

Maria Grazia Chiuri has created a fairytale-inspired capsule collection that would make the Queen of Hearts proud. The Dioramour capsule collection is one for the lovers, with classic silhouettes and limited-edition creations adorned with teeny-tiny hearts and checkerboard prints, dubbed D-Chess.

Simultaneously feminine and punk rock, Dioramour ready-to-wear is bursting with fire-red hues and the D-Chess print, presented in the form of romantic silhouettes, preppy separates and laid-back co-ords with masculine tailoring. Elsewhere, an intricate D-Royaume d’Amour motif designed by artist Pietro Ruffo makes an appearance on denim, cashmere sweaters and must-have accessories.

The Alice in Wonderland-esque collection uses the D-Chess and D-Royaume d’Amour prints to reinvent well-known accessories, including the Book Tote, Lady Dior and Dior Caro bags, the latter of which has been transformed into a heart-shaped cannage iteration for the occasion. In addition, the array of accessories includes a checkerboard-print, Gen Z-approved bucket hat, jewellery, the House’s iconic perfect-for-summer slides and Dior Addict sneakers, which come elevated with a sky-high platform and “Amour” emblazoned on the back in Scrabble-like letters.

Dior Maison has also gotten in on the action with a Dioramour homeware collection of crockery and stationary. The collection is now available in Dior boutiques with select pieces online.
