The brand will present its pre-fall collection on the late Gianni Versace's birthday
Donatella Versace will present her first-ever Versace pre-fall 2019 collection in New York on December 2, 2018. The date has a special meaning for the designer, as it is her late brother Gianni Versace's birthday.
With its runway show, Versace joins the ranks of Valentino, Dior Homme, and Chanel, all of which have announced pre-fall showings. Valentino will show in Tokyo on November 27, while Dior Homme will follow suit on November 30. Chanel will take over the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on December 4.
Although details about the location are being kept under wraps for now, we do know that the decision to show in New York was made before the acquisition of the company by Michael Kors.
