February is almost here, which means that in the blink of an eye, Valentine’s Day will be upon us. Luckily, a number of Dubai’s finest restaurants are ready and waiting to help out with something a little different this year, with decadent special menus that will be sure to impress.

Oak Room

Eat your heart out this Valentine’s Day at the Abu Dhabi Edition’s swish steakhouse Oak Room, where your evening will kick off with a signature red rose and glass of bubbly. Devour Chef Tom Aikens set menu which has been lovingly-curated for the occasion and includes sourdough with marmite butter, Gillardeau oysters with passion fruit granite, a surf and turf main course of poached lobster claw and black onyx tenderloin, finished with a sweet dessert of mixed berry trifle.

If you can’t escape the Greece this Valentine’s Day, Ammos is offering the next best thing with an exclusive menu full of authentic Mediterranean flavours. Fresh starters include Fine de Claire oysters and Gillardeau Oysters, freshly shucked and served with shallot wine vinegar, as well as a range of traditional Greek starters including feta tyropita, deep fried calamari, prawns in garlic and onions, grilled octopus and a selection of dips.

For mains, expect sharing seafood platters with king prawns and grilled squid, a mixed meat platter with lamb chops, chicken souvlaki, beef soutzoukakia and a lobster pasta perfect for recreating that cozy Lady and the Tramp moment. Always one to provide a perfect gastronomic evening, Jason Atherton’s Marina Social is taking It up a notch this Valentine’s Day with its Treat For Two menu, which kicks off with a glass of Champagne and arancini on arrival. Made for sharing, menu highlights include seared Hokkaido scallops, a succulent USDA beef fillet and the Atlantic cod with parmesan & truffle gnocchi to name a few. End on a sweet note with tiramisu profiteroles and the restaurant’s signature dessert to share – a decadent strawberry & Madagascan vanilla cheesecake – all served up with a single red rose.
