Fashion Forward enters its sixth season on October 22nd with a talented roster of famous faces from the likes of Scott Schuman at The Sartorialist to influential beauty blogger, Huda Kattan. See who we think is worth watching at Dubai’s most stylish event.

One of the region’s most sought after beauty bloggers, Huda Kattan and her sister Mona will be giving a talk on Fashion Forward’s opening day entitled, “Building a Brand, the Huda Beauty Story.” Though she boasts over 7 million Instagram followers, Kattan also hosts a wildly successful Youtube account that features videos on quick beauty tips, holy grail product reviews and experimental make up tests.

Backstage with M.A.C. Cosmetics
Another make up guru will be visiting Fashion Forward this season, as the Global President of M.A.C Cosmetics, Karen Buglisi Weiler, stops by to discuss her prolific career as a backstage make up artist, consulting for over 850 global fashion shows. Weiler will also be on hand to provide insight into student educational programmes, alongide revealing her latest designer product collaborations.

Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist
New York-based Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist will celebrate his debut at Fashion Forward with a talk on his career as a street style photographer and blogger over the past decade. Schuman began The Sartorialist in 2005 and has since been awarded the CFDA Media Award and has published three books of street photography. This is one talk that shouldn’t be missed.

Other talks to look out for will be D3’s “Accessories: The Next Big Thing” in collaboration with concept store Tryano, the Chalboub Group, Hamdi Kulahcioglu, Shourouk Rhaiem of Shourouk of Shourouk and Nadine Kanso of Bil Arabi. The talk will be moderated by Style.com/Arabia Editor in Chief, Sofia Guellat.

On Sunday 25th visitors will get to participate in a workshop hosted by digital influencers Mahmoud Sidani, Anum Bashir, and Nadya Hasan, who will discuss the blogging business, specifically, how to engage with influencers.
