The perfume house uses Feng Shui to help people find their elements and their perfect scent
Founded in 2016 by Lola Tillyaeva, Paris-based perfume label The Harmonist is set to launch in the Middle East later this month. Inspired by ancient Asian philosophies, the brand encourages one to seek the right balance of yin and yang between the strongest of the five elements - water, wood, fire, earth and metal.
Available in Harvey Nichols at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates from November 30, The Harmonist collaborated with renowned French perfumer Guillaume Flavigny to bring French savoir-faire to the collection, and leading Feng Shui expert Priya Sher who counts Deepak Chopra and Paula Coelho among others as her clients. The result, ten rare scents based on the two energies of the five elements.
"The Harmonist is the first maison de parfum which offers a fragrance attuned to your personal energy. Our main goal is to help our clients choose a perfume that matches their personality traits. Each of our fragrances represents a particular element and our brand has created its own algorithm for an individual’s choice of perfume. By using the application available at our website, you can discover your personal element, the qualities associated with it and also the scent that best harmonises your personality type and what you need at this particular point of your life journey," explained Tillyaeva in an exclusive interview with MOJEH.com.
Each ingredient in the elixirs is selected very carefully from the rarest and most precious natural ingredients from all over the world and are harvested by hand to ensure the highest standards of excellence are met in each bottle. Blending the delicate combinations of olfactory science, essential oils and spirituality, these fragrances are conveyed as perfumes, refills, and scented candles.
