Starring brand ambassador Emma Stone, alongside actress Zhong Chuxi, Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign returns to the Belle Époque era of the late 19th century — with a spring/summer 2020 collection dedicated to refined romance.
Photographed by Collier Schorr in London’s renowned Park Lane Hotel, the campaign features SS20’s pouf sleeves, floral boutonnières, bold clashing prints and clinched waists, complemented by the Art Déco architecture of the hotel.
Aside from the runway looks, the campaign also focuses on the latest line of lust-worthy handbags; from the Vanity in monogram to the newest variation of the Dauphine, now in Epi leather or super chic suede.
Schorr’s series of images reflect Ghesquière’s key influence — the Belle Époque period — but also nod to the '70s (with flared silhouettes and patterned knits) and the Louis Vuitton archives, offering a fresh take on previous designs. It's another fashionable trip through time.
