Rodarte's SS19 offering was all about romance and roses
Just when we all thought flower crowns were over, Rodarte decided to bring them back with a bang.
The romantic, floral hair was the brainchild of Odile Gilbert for Tresemme, who teamed up with flower designer Joseph Free. Each model had a different look and according to Gilbert there was no rules. Think armfuls of fresh roses woven into tousled tresses, plenty of pastel-toned tulle and Rodarte’s signature metal hair accessories.
The resulting look was a floral fairytale, with Odile describing the style as "sophisticated and whimsical", while praising her secret volumising weapon, the TRESemme Fresh & Clean Dry Shampoo, which she sprayed all over the hair before running her fingers through it to add plenty of texture and volume.
The rest of the brand’s beauty look was just as awe-inspiring with Nars makeup artist James Kaliardos using primary colours to create soft geometric shapes on the face. Morgan Taylor artist Eichi Matsunaga also perfectly complemented the intricate hairstyles with her metallic nails.
