Go On An Olfactory Journey At The Dior Toile de Jouy Pop Up

Feb 04, 2021 | 2 min read

Concocted by Dior Perfumer-Creator François Demachy, the limited edition Toile de Jouy collection is now on display at the Bloomingdale’s Atrium.

Toile de Jouy has been a familiar motif at the house of Dior ever since Christian Dior opened his first store on 30 Avenue Montaigne back in 1947, revisited over the years by the likes of John Galliano, Gianfranco Ferré, and more recently Maria Grazia Chiuri, to name just a few. Now, Dior has launched a limited-edition Toile de Jouy fragrance collection in exquisitely illustrated packaging, and its even got its very own pop up boutique at the Dubai Mall.

Comprising three of the brand’s classic fragrances, there’s Lucky - a fresh aroma featuring lily-of-the-valley that comes housed in an all-green container to match the color of the formula; Gris Dior, an expression of the classic Dior grey hue; and Oud Ispahan, a dreamy blend of smoky wood and unusually spicy rose, which have all been given a spectacular make over.

Concocted by Dior Perfumer-Creator François Demachy, the collection is now on display at the new Maison Christian Dior pop up at the Bloomingdale’s Atrium, which is stunningly inspired by the romance of Parisian architecture and Art de Vivre. Here, experts of the house will navigate you through the Toile de Jouy fragrance collections, giving us a dopamine-raising boost at a time when we need it most. It’s only running until February 6th though, so you’ll need to be quick.
