The Primetime Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles on 15 January, bringing together A-Listers to celebrate achievements in television. The Emmys was originally scheduled to take place in September 2023 but was postponed due to the SAG-AFRA strikes, therefore the nominees reflected the most talked-about programmes from early last year. Beef, The White Lotus, Succession and The Bear were all awarded trophies as they swept the majority of the nominations.
As always, before the ceremony our eyes were fixed on the fashion and the Emmys red carpet did not disappoint, from Suki Waterhouse debuting her baby bump in a striking Valentino gown to Issa Rae's old Hollywood glamour. The red carpet looks were predominantly in moodier shades with plenty of black and red sashaying down the carpet. However, stars like Taraji P. Henson and Issa Rae brought pizazz through shimmer and brighter hues, the former wearing purple in a nod to her role in The Colour Purple. Below, we round-up the most interesting fashion looks of the 2024 Emmy Awards.
