Rihanna’s visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi did little to hinder her fashion presence. Dressed head-to-toe in black and sporting a perfect rouge pout, she took the trip as an opportunity to test her posing prowess, creating controversy with her online followers who brandished her disrespectful given the location.

Marilyn would later serve as inspiration for the lyrics in ‘Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary’ from Rihanna’s seventh studio album, Unapologetic in 2012.
