Fable & Mane was founded by siblings Nikita and Akash Mehta, drawing upon Ayurvedic practices to create high-demand hair solutions. How Did Fable & Mane Begin?
Though the company launched in April 2020 at the height of the pandemic, the seed of Fable & Mane had been ripening for quite some time. More than anything, the Indian brand pays homage to the siblings' grandmother, along with the stories and traditions she passed down. The brand name refers to the story of an individual’s hair journey, hence Fable & Mane.
During a difficult period, the Creative Director Nikita started experiencing hair loss. While seeking a solution, she fondly remembered her grandmother’s oil massages. These handmade and plant-laden oils are key to long and luscious hair, which is something we’ve all been envious of. In an unsteady and precarious time, they launched HoliRoots Hair Oil, quickly putting an end to our lacklustre lock-down hair.
