Valentino just announced that its collaboration with Moncler will be available to buy at Dubai Mall in 20 days
It may well be the height of summer, but we’re not ones to overlook a designer collaboration as feisty as this. Moncler, known for its sturdy and stylish approach to functional outerwear, meets Maison Valentino. Under the creative direction of Valentino‘s Pierpaolo Piccioli, winter items for both men and women have been created.
The most eye-catching of the Valentino and Moncler pieces, are those pertaining to Pierpaolo Piccioli’s pre-fall 2018 collection for the French house. Animal prints get neon makeovers and tiger eyes fixate in jovial ways. For something slightly subdued, look towards the all-black coat with a tiger embossed across the back. Or if you’re a logomania fan, try the VLTN insignia coat.
The Valentino and Moncler collaboration follows the launch of Chanel’s dedicated ski-wear line, Coco Neige. Showcasing a push towards ski-wear unfolds as potential capsule collections for designer houses. More to follow, perhaps?
The items created from the collaboration between Moncler and Valentino will be available for pre-order on Valentino.com from the August 20 , and on sale exclusively in 65 worldwide Valentino boutiques, including the Dubai Mall store from August 27, 2018.
