October 1 marked the start of Breast Cancer Awareness month, and this year Dubai-based designer Yasmin Al Mulla of YNM Dubai, has designed a special piece specifically for the occasion.
“This piece symbolises pure femininity and powerful confidence. It was designed to spread positivity and to create optimism for breast cancer patients all over the world. I want to spread a powerful message and create a strong awareness in any possible way”, the designer said in a press release.

The modest design was created using Spanish raw pink silk and features delicate floral embroidery on the sleeves. It can be can be styled in a variety of ways depending on your mood, style, or even culture.
Currently, breast cancer affects one in five people in the UAE, and according to the Health Authority Abu Dhabi, it is the leading form of cancer in women in the country.
The coat is available now on YNMDubai.com, and a percentage of all sales will go to breast cancer patients around the world.
