To mark World Sustainability Day (October 23), Pierchic have introduced a sustainable lunch menu with four delectable courses made from purely homegrown and ethically sourced ingredients.
Located at the luxurious Jumeirah Al Qasr, the multi award winning restaurant has made a pledge to sustainability with an ethos centred on helping the environment. Which means, the over-the-water dining destination considers food production, distribution and packaging.
The new sustainable lunch menu isn’t the first initiative from the eatery, Pierchic have also adopted a market-leading stance against single-use plastics, by removing straws and stirrers from use and opting to serve mineral water in glass bottles.
The renowned seafood restaurant also hosted a sustainability summit earlier this year, where industry leaders discussed environmentally friendly options for the F&B industry.
Maintaining a strong reputation for sustainability, the new lunch menu includes Dibba Bay oysters from the UAE’s only oyster farm on the country’s East coast, which are served with cucumber, green apple and dill.
Next, is a duo of Norwegian salmon & Spanish yellowfin tuna ceviche with coriander, sweet potato and leche de tigre.
For the main, enjoy UAE hammour served with garden vegetables and saloona sauce and for a decadent finish dive into butternut & UAE ricotta cheesecake with pumpkin purée and pistachio ice cream.
Pierchic’s Sustainable Lunch menu is priced at Dhs425 per person and is available from 12:30pm till 7pm from Saturday to Thursday. Advance booking is required;+971 800 666 353
