The iconic Prada Flame shoe is back for 2018, and we know just where to find it
Think back to summer of 2012. With its fiery disposition, head turning qualities and (surprising) comfort factor, the Prada Flame Sandal was the It shoe of the season. Whether worn with flamboyant dresses or simply a tailored trouser suit, its nail thin pin heel and jubilant tones made it a firm fashion week favourite. Notable names donning the Italian house favourite were Anna Dello Russo and Lara Stone.
In February earlier this year, the house surprised guests at its autumn-winter 2018 runway show as a reimagining of the Flame hit the catwalk. Neon versions upped the ante while simpler hues such as pine green offered wearable options. The best part? A wedge version was added to the line-up. Taking the Flame from evening decadence to daytime cool.
Kendall Jenner has already sported the wedge. The model was spotted wearing it during the day with a casual, athleisure style look. And now, Prada presents its latest campaign, Ultravision, in which models Mica Argañaraz, Sarah Fraser, Amanda Murphy, Sasha Pivovarova, Amber Valletta, Liu Wen, Kiki Willems and Anok Yai sport various versions of the Flame.
