The news coincided with Williams attending Chanel’s first ever fashion show in Bangkok
Long-time friend of Chanel, Pharrell Williams has created a ready-to-wear and accessories capsule collection for the house’s spring/summer 2019 season.
The collaboration will be unveiled on March 29, 2019 in Seoul, South Korea, to celebrate the opening of the new Chanel flagship boutique, and then in selected Chanel boutiques all around the world from April 4, 2019.

This is not the first time Pharrell has collaborated with the fashion designer. In 2014, he appeared in the short film called Reincarnation created and directed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. The American singer and songwriter was also the face of the Métiers d’art collection and walked in the Métiers d’art collection Paris Cosmopolite 2016/17 show. Last year, he was one of the faces of Chanel’s Gabrielle bag campaign and he customised a pair of sneakers for the brand as part of the Chanel at Colette event.
