Louis Vuitton Channels The 80s With New Wave Bag

Louis Vuitton has garnered a cult following for its classic, monogrammed bags. And for Fall 18 the house is giving us a new collection to drool over. Inspired by the vibrant ’80s music genre of the same name, the Louis Vuitton “New Wave” line revisits the joyful, colourful spirit of a lively era. With a new shape, it cleverly blends soft supple lambskin with multi-wear chains, allowing the wearer to move the bag seamlessly from shoulder to cross-body like a chameleon. In true on-trend branding, the metallic LV logo spells out on the bags’ removable handles in a rainbow silkscreen motif, a modern twist to the house’s timeless signature.  The “New Wave” collection, available in stores July 2018, will feature in a range of colourways, including smoothie pink and Malibu green shades for summer alongside neo-classics in black and red.
