The Academy Awards is the fashion highlight of the awards calendar and this year was no different. From Chopard and Tiffany & Co. to Bulgari, the glittering high jewellery offerings at the 2021 Oscars still have us swooning.
Oscar-winning presenter Regina King wore natural diamonds from Forevermark’s Avaanti™ Collection to compliment her whimsical Louis Vuitton gown.
Andra Day dazzled in Tiffany & Co. jewels with a selection of seven rings – including the Schlumberger® Ring with diamonds and tsavorite – as well as a diamond-covered Cooper bracelet and stunning earrings featuring both yellow and white diamonds. In total, the The United Stated vs Billie Holiday star wore over $2 million in Tiffany & Co. jewels.
Amanda chose responsibly sourced, natural yellow diamonds by Forevermark and paired the breathtaking 50-carat Fancy Brooch with a matching yellow diamond ring from the Forevermark Exceptional collection, double-drop halo diamond earrings and Black Label diamond bangles.
Maria Bakalova wore Moussaieff High Jewellery for her first-ever Oscars, pairing its 74-carat diamond necklace with pink-and-white diamond earrings and a matching 8-carat ring.
Zendaya was a ray of sunshine in a yellow Valentino gown and carried the optimistic hue through to her jewels; a double-collared diamond-and-platinum necklace with a central yellow diamond and removable brooch pendant, courtesy of Bulgari’s upcoming Magnifica High Jewellery collection. The addition of diamond earrings, bracelet and rings brought her ensemble to a grand total of 180 carats and over $6 million.
Oscar-winning musician H.E.R chose a 18K white gold ring from Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie collection, complete with a 12.64-carat purple spinel surrounded by white diamonds.
Minari‘s Yeri Han took a (relatively) minimalistic approach and complimented her striking red Louis Vuitton gown with pieces from the House’s High Jewellery collection.
Angela Basset went matchy-matchy on the red carpet, accessorising her custom-made Alberta Ferretti gown with Chopard Haute Joaillerie earrings boasting 28 carats of rubies, 9 carats of diamonds and a white gold setting.
Laura Dern was dripping with diamonds at this year’s Oscars. She wore Pomellato Sabbia’s rose gold mesh bracelet featuring 539 hand-set white, brown and black diamonds, 13-carat drop earrings made of 606 diamonds and a rose gold ring with a further 111 diamonds.
Reese Witherspoon joined forces with Bulgari for the Oscars, choosing a selection of onyx, pearls, diamonds and rubies by way of the one-of-a-kind Barocko High Jewellery bracelet, a show-stopping 10.15-carat ruby ring and exquisite earrings.
Viola Davis, the most-nominated Black actress in the history of the Oscars, shone in rare, responsible Forevermark diamonds, including the 2.7-carat Diamond Bypass ring from the Forevermark by Rahaminov collection.
Isla Fisher was another celebrity who opted for Bulgari – and why not? – choosing a diamond choker and matching earrings.
