Tiffany & Co. revamps an icon for summer, drenching the emblematic Bird on a Rock in feel-good rainbow hues. The Rainbow Bird on a Rock capsule collection sees reinterpretations of Jean Schlumberger's 1965 design; the diamond cockatoo first appeared perched atop a light-brown topaz.

The capsule collection sees breathtaking brooches championing coloured gemstones, diamonds and pearls. The central gemstones include a 66-carat yellow zircon and 68-carat rubellite as well as a rare black opal with specks of red, orange and purple. The delicate birds have also received a multicoloured makeover, where coloured gemstones informed by the central stone adorn their feathers and heads. In homage to Schlumberger, the capsule collection integrates 18k gold wirework and paillonné enamel details - the visionary designer is credited with reviving the 19th-century technique.

The addition of coloured gemstones on the curious cockatoos adds an element of whimsy and charm reflective of Schlumberger's boundary-pushing genius and the uplifting energy of summer. Discover the collection
