After debuting with her ‘Palestine Mon Amour’ collection, which paid homage to cities like Gaza and Bethlehem, UAE-based jewellery designer Laila Shaheen of Amolune has launched a new range of pendants, ideal for personalised festive gift-giving. For her ‘Ahrof’ collection, Laila uses her background in graphic design to reinterpret Arabic letters, celebrating identity, personality and a deep-rooted appreciation for culture while giving the age-old script a fresh and contemporary bubble-letter casting. The shape of each pendant has been hand-drawn, and is available in 18 carat yellow gold, or 18 carat white gold emblazoned with diamonds. Be it an addition to your daily layered necklace stack, or a glistening, stand-alone accessory for special occasions, these minimalist initials speak volumes.
“Wearing your Arabic initial is more than a style statement; it’s an act of celebration — a way to honour your identity, your heritage and the language that carries your stories,” Laila tells MOJEH. “It’s a powerful reminder to stand proudly in who you are, embracing the beauty of your culture and the legacy it holds.” Shop now
