An exclusive line of haute jewels titled Les Talismans de Chanel offers a voyage toward new infinities that lie between emotion and action.
The latest High Jewellery collection to surface from the Parisian house draws on the mystery of magic. Chanel embraced the concept of the talisman – typically an inscribed ring or stone that is said to bring luck to its owners – to inform a 50-piece selection of glistening white and yellow gold designs embellished with diamonds, pearls and precious stones.
Les Talismans de Chanel incorporates the floral quatrefoil leitmotif into each intricate piece. The collection features a rich selection of cuffs, necklaces, brooches, bracelets, earrings and rings along with a dazzling watch in 18k white gold, set with brilliant cut diamonds. Each of the six signature names represents a bespoke selection of jewels. The ‘Charismatique’ offers a sugarloaf-cut blue tanzanite with baroque-cut pink and violet sapphires. The ‘Hypnotique’ sights a brilliant-cut blue violet tanzanite. And the ‘Mysterieuse’ adds Japanese cultured pearls, rock crystal cabochons and black lacquer.
Proving that diamonds are indeed a Chanel girl’s best friend is the ‘Particulière’ range, which utilizes dark yellow brown and brown diamonds. The ‘Fascinante’ adopts pear-cut diamonds and the ‘Magnétique’, oval-cut diamonds.
