Christian Dior was fascinated by all things mysterious and magical since - literally - stumbling upon an eight-pointed star at his childhood home in Granville, France; he found the emblem on the ground and kept it with him as a symbol of good luck, later incorporating the symbol into Dior collections. Not only associated with good fortune, the star replicates a compass and therefore Monsieur Dior believed it would guide him in the right direction.

In Dior's latest Rose des Vents jewellery collection, Victoire de Castellane once again utilises this fascination as a source of inspiration, creating various pieces that feature the symbol that has now become synonymous with the Maison. On rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces, a symphony of semi-precious stones adorn delicate medallions set with onyx, lapis lazuli, tiger's eye, pink opal and mother-of-pearl. MOJEH captures the collection, complemented by garden-inspired high jewellery and breathtaking timepieces. Explore the shoot in the gallery above and shop the collection here
