Hublot has once again partnered with world-renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami to unveil a remarkable new timepiece, the MP-15 Takashi Murakami Tourbillon Sapphire Rainbow. This limited-edition watch masterfully blends Murakami’s iconic “smiling flower” design with Hublot’s cutting-edge watchmaking, creating a visually striking piece that pushes the boundaries of art and horology.
This collaboration marks another step in the duo’s ongoing relationship, which began in 2021. The MP-15 represents their most ambitious project yet, with Murakami’s famous flower design reimagined as a vibrant 42mm sapphire sculpture, embellished with 444 meticulously set gemstones. Rubies, sapphires, amethysts and more form a rainbow of colours that adorn the flower’s twelve petals, symbolising a perfect fusion of art and gem-setting expertise.
