In an exciting blend of sport and haute horology, Hublot unveiled the limited-edition Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic in Paris, celebrating the tennis legend's record-breaking achievements. MOJEH Men was among the first to experience the collaboration, limited to 100 pieces, which is not just a timepiece but a symbol of Djokovic’s illustrious career, encapsulating moments from his historic 2023 season.
Weighing a mere 49 grams - lighter than a tennis ball - this 42-mm masterpiece carries the essence of Djokovic’s game. It incorporates materials from 25 tennis rackets and over 30 Lacoste polo shirts worn by the Serbian star during his 2023 matches. These were ground and transformed into a unique blue-toned, camo-speckled composite used for the bezel and case. “This kind of material upcycling hasn’t been done before,” noted Hublot CEO Julien Tornare. “We wanted to do something different, more original, and innovative.”
Djokovic, who now holds 24 Grand Slam titles and Olympic gold from the 2024 Paris Games, spoke about the symbolic significance of the watch.
“To reach where I am today, it has required extensive work both physically and, most importantly, mentally,” said Djokovic. “The psychology of the game is very important, and when I play, each moment needs to be precise and intentional. This new watch is an extension of this mindset and represents key moments from my 2023 season, a landmark year in my career. It is a symbol of every game, every moment. It has been an incredible experience to collaborate with Hublot to create this special watch.”
The Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic comes with four interchangeable straps, including one designed to resemble a tennis wristband. Buyers will also receive a Lacoste sports wristband and a signed polo shirt, paying homage to Djokovic’s ambassadorship with the French brand since 2017.
This collaboration not only celebrates Djokovic’s tennis legacy but also redefines how watches can embody personal and historical significance. The Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic is a true collector’s item for fans of tennis and fine watchmaking alike. Explore the collaboration
