At Christian Dior's first presentation in 1947, in the haute couture salons of 30 avenue montagne, Napoleon III chairs featured a pattern that would become an emblem of the House and central motif for Dior's My Dior jewellery collection. We now know this motif as cannage.
Victoire de Castellane champions cannage throughout My Dior; it unfurls across rings, earrings and bracelets through interweaving gold threads that simultaneously pay homage to heritage and the expertise found within the House's ateliers. The pieces are available in yellow, rose and white gold - both two-toned and monochrome iterations - with some made all the more decadent with diamonds and others a fusion of gold and lacquer. Each of the My Dior bracelets entails a painstaking nine-step process where every element is affixed and assembled individually.
My Dior was first released in 2018. The relaunch comprises 15 pieces, with the first 12 having launched this month and the final three arriving in November. Discover the collection
