What To Wear: The Beach Edit

Jan 16, 2020 | 7 min read

The weather might have been wet, windy and wild of late but spring is on the horizon and the Gulf’s pristine beaches, as well as the slew of cool hangouts that line them, are beckoning us back.

Getting beach-ready post the festive season requires more than just a few extra PT sessions, though. It requires a few wardrobe adjustments, too. Dressing yourself confident becomes all the more relevant when you strip back the layers.

Packing for the beach doesn’t end with trying to find the perfect swimsuit for your body shape - although we have found some great ones. You need to consider bags, hats, sunglasses and the perfect throw-on, too. You need a look that will carry you from the salty shores, to the breezy enclave of a beach bar for a cocktail, or two.

Follow MOJEH’s guide to getting your weekend wardrobe in check, and scroll through our pick of the best beach styles to shop, now.

GUEST-LIST ONLY

Animal print is now less of a statement, and more of a classic so this Faithfull the Brand dress makes for a timeless throw-on. The clever ruched detail on this Norma Kamali swimsuit has body sculpting abilities and it would look equally elegant post-beach with some wide-leg trousers. Multitasking clothes are always worth the investment. Add a smattering of gold to finish.

PARTY GIRL STYLE

Dress yourself happy – or into the party mood – with a beach style that sings with colour.  The rainbow stripes on this Nicholas ‘Kerela’ maxi dress are guaranteed to melt the steeliest fashion hearts. But don’t stop there. These sunshine yellow sandals from By Far and this pillar box red Loewe bag (and bikini) will ensure you’re life and soul of the fashion party.
