To mark the beginning of the brand’s 40th anniversary, artistic director and icon Donatella Versace has joined forces with today’s hottest talents, and the industry’s most longstanding iconic faces. Shutterbug Steven Meisel photographed the brand’s spring/summer18 campaign, and has captured the vibrant personalities of those who resemble Versace’s luxurious and creative principles, which range from creativity and empowerment to the giant’s renowned inclusivity.
“This campaign represents the link between the past and present. You need to know who you are, and where you are coming from, to build your future. And when you are at the head of a brand with such a strong heritage as mine, you can only embrace it. This is the reason why I wanted to see this iconic supermodel cast next to the soon-to-be-iconic girls of the future,” comments Donatella Versace.
