Loewe Autumn/Winter 2022 is all about experimentation

Loewe Autumn/Winter 2022 is all about experimentation. Balloons escaping from bandage dresses; hemlines stuffed with cars; latex cap-sleeve dresses; and what we can only describe as bag shoes (that is, a loose-fitting, ankle-swallowing shoe with a drawstring closure).

Equally apt for an art gallery or wardrobe, Loewe Autumn/Winter 2022, as with most of Jonathan Anderson's collections, marries fashion with mind-boggling art. In the case of this particular show, artwork adorned the runway, with models sashaying around sculptures of melting pumpkins created by British sculptor Anthea Hamilton - a tribute to leather-crafted pumpkins created by Jonathan Anderson specifically for her.
