Arab designers have already opened the doors to their glorious collections, filled with delicate handwork and lavish innovative designs, to A-list celebrities and their world domination seems set to continue. At Cannes film festival this year, stars such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stepped out on the runway donning a sparkling cape gown designed by Kuwaiti designer Ali Younes, bringing the newcomer into the limelight on one of fashion's greatest platforms. We also spotted Bahraini designer Monsoori's pinstripe summer dress on Eva Longoria during her arrival at Nice airport. We’re looking at our favourite Middle Eastern designs, from Georges Chakra's billowing red gown on Petra Nemcova to Georges Hobeika's sparkly ball gowns, gracing the red carpet at Cannes 2016.
