As we move on to the next fashion capital take a glimpse back at the best spring accessories that hit the runway in London.

The Signature Bag

Christopher Kane’s signature seatbelt bag found a new iteration this season in neon PVC plastic with industrial zip tie detailing. Kane looked to the works of John Chamberlain and Scottie Wilson as his experimental muses.

New Nude Shoe

The new nude sandal was a hit at David Koma’s spring show. Minimal, wearable and oh-so easy to transition from season-to-season, this is one stylish staple you wouldn’t begrudge as part of your shoe collection.

Delicate Arm Candy

A sophomore season for creative director Jamie O’Hare at Issa saw cocktail dresses with glistening detail aplenty. But it was his cutout yellow gold and enamel arm cuffs – seen here worn slightly above the wrist – that caught our eye.

Cowboy Casual

Designer Margaret Howell looked to the ease of pajama-like dressing in casual, oversized silhouettes for her spring collection. To pair with her relaxed vibe she incorporated neckerchiefs in polka dot prints, tied loosely around models’ necks.

Sole Couture

‘Chaos in the cosmic’ was Mary Katrantzou’s lexicon for the season. The designer’s famed trompe l’oeil prints may have been shelved since her first few extraordinary collections, but they arrived again in a Lucite heel buckled-boot, offset with snakeskin straps.

Wide Brim Beauty

The wide brim hat was reinterpreted at Osman Yousefzada’s spring collection under the tent of the BFC show space. Yousefzada looked to the musing of artist Frida Kahlo with a vibrant colour palette inspired by Mexican dress.

The Hybrid Wallet

Paul Smith proposed a new bag this season in a hybrid wallet-document shape tied with a topknot fastening. The designer upped the ante in the colour department, citing David Hockney in his citrus alligator skin hues. And how do you wear it? Tucked just under the arm and clasped by the hand for the world to see.

Chandelier Jewels

Anthony Vaccarello’s debut Versus show incorporated all the slinky, sexy glamour associated with his own namesake label. His statement chandelier earrings with cascades of sparkly tassels only added to the drama.
