5 Reasons To Fall For Coach This Summer

Jun 20, 2016 | 3 min read

From the Menswear collection we can't get enough of to the brand's latest love affair with Mickey Mouse, here's why Coach is turning heads

Coach is calling out to us in so many ways this summer. From the punkish Spring 2017 menswear collection showcased at Lindley Hall and attended by the likes of Kate Moss to the playful limited edition pieces launched for the brand's 75th birthday.

1. Coach x Disney

Celebrating its 75th birthday with another all-American institute, Coach have partnered with none other than our childhood favourite, Mickey Mouse! This limited edition Disney x Coach collection includes brand favourites like the saddle bag, brought to life with sketches designed by Disney animators and engraved into leather.

What’s not to love about a jacket decorated with Mickey’s ears? The leather piece features the rodent’s famous silhouette in stud formation with hand-painted accents in the Mouse’s signature colour palette. We can’t wait to add a hint of Walt-wonder to our wardrobe!

3. #CoachMeanswear17

Coach’s Menswear Spring ‘17 show at London Fashion Week was accessible in both wearability and also in the ‘shop right now’ sense. Turning to American classics, the collection reworked the US male's wardrobe staples, from tees to bombers, leather jackets and loafters with an injection of Vever’s personality and a fair portion of playful print and pattern.

As we all know, Men's Fashion Week is a viable source for new womenswear trends. At Coach’s London Fashion Week Menswear show we fell in love with Gary Baseman’s painted, punk-inspired leathers and emblazoned bombers. Some of the collection is available to shop online now.

5. Dinosaurs

Nothing says summer poolside like a t-rex motif tote. Actually, many other things reference summer more accurately, but these days no one wants to be obvious. Take this bright blue Rexy re-edition of the brand’s 1962 classic and pack it with a good book and some SPF.
