The military boot is without doubt a traditionally masculine style – robust, sturdy and made for marching – but this season’s take on the classic style, however, offers opportunity for something fresh and more feminine. Look for pieces that showcase added extras, be it gold, silver, diamonds or pearls, and lift with dresses, skirts and softer hues. The trick is to avoid formal silhouettes and darker shades in place of lighter notes.
