Creative director Clare Waight Keller reimagined Chloé’s most iconic signature staples for SS16.

Looking to the past Chloé’s SS16 collection was full of the house's historic sartorial successes. The designer delivered billowing dresses, ruffled denim, paisley prints and a host of delicate crisp white separates, giving the Chloé woman a head start for next summer.
The house's routine nod to effortless style took form in sports-inspired track trousers and jersey jackets. Keeping things true to style, Keller teamed more masculine separates with cascading floral maxi skirts and bohemian blouses.
Paisley prints were injected into the collection in soft hues of dove grey, white and lilac. Conveying essential bohemian notes, printed separates were lined with delicate trimmings of monochromatic lace.
The designer toughened up saturated blue denim, with frayed edges and acid wash tones. Catering to the female form with indirect femininity, off-the-shoulder detailing and waist-defining shapes were showcased within easy-to-wear daywear.
Muted colour palettes of burnt orange, lilac and dusted pastels were the shades of choice for Chloé. Colour blocked across past-season silhouettes and reworked with tassel detailing, the designer generated a bohemian princess in summer’s newest form.
Loved for its easy wearability, Chloé produced summer whites with ease. Combining bundles of texture with overflowing fabrics, shirts were given daytime appeal as dresses took a more beachside approach.
