GIRLS WILL BE BOYS
Berluti have collaborated with British luggage label Globe- Trotter on a capsule of luxury suitcases and travel accessories for men, that girls will love too. Featuring a new signature canvas, each carrier has been hand-crafted using traditional tools used by Globe-Trotter since its foundation in 1897.
To commemorate the Year of the Rat, Gucci have launched a Chinese New Year capsule which pays homage to the world’s most famous rodent: Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse. A nostalgic collection for every fashion lover’s inner child, the capsule is formed of playful Micky Mouse-emblazoned tees, leather bags and silk scarves, which are on show at the dedicated Gucci pop-up, located in The Dubai Mall Fashion Atrium until February 18.
SUSTAINABLE SCANDI STYLE
Copenhagen-based By Malene Birger has partnered with Net-A-Porter to launch an eco-friendly capsule made from organic cotton and responsibly sourced merino. The minimalist collection includes neutral knits, crisp summer dresses and everyday denims. Net-A-Porter.com
KEEP ME FOREVER
Reworked in three new alluring shades, Bulgari’s beloved Serpenti Forever bag gets a Valentine’s Day glam-over in White Agate, Rosa di Francia and Carmine Jasper. Featured in a capsule collection, alongside covetable accessories, the fresh crop of bags include a heart-shaped charm dangling from the emblematic serpent’s head.
SAY IT WITH A SLOGAN
This February, printed T-shirts are used to portray great love stories. Hugo Loves Bowie, a limited-edition unisex capsule inspired by music icon David Bowie, features album artwork and poetic slogans scrawled across tees and accessories. While Valentine’s collection Miu Miu Kisses, showcases some of cinema’s most romantic scenes; from Snow White to Flashdance, in cooler-than-cool oversized shapes.
BLUE AND KHAKI GREEN SHOULD BE SEEN
This month, luxury e-tailer The Outnet, will launch an exclusive Diane von Furstenberg collection — comprising of 13 wearable silhouettes in a palette of navy, khaki and white. The capsule features DVF’s distinctive, yet ladylike style with dresses, jumpsuits, blouses and wrap skirts adorned in bold floral prints, designed specifically for The Outnet.
