Riyadh Fashion Week is coming to the Kingdom for the first time this October
You thought Fashion Month was over? Think again. This month sees the first edition of Riyadh Fashion Week, taking place from 20 to 23 October in the capital. The event highlights the work of 30 Saudi designers, who will present their collections in front of the global fashion community, including buyers, celebrities and VIPs. Riyadh Fashion Week kicks off with a star-studded Opening Gala Dinner which welcomes more than 250 global tastemakers.

The impressive line-up includes Arwa Al Banana, 1886, Fatima Abdul Qader, Hala Al Gharabawi, Honayda, Moja Majka, Mona Al Shebil, Atelier Hekayat, Noble and Fresh and Yasmina Q.

Hosted by the Saudi Fashion Commission, Riyadh Fashion Week supports the development of the fashion industry on a local, regional and international scale. “The event will showcase the best of our creative talent, allowing yet another opportunity for our brands to connect with the world,” says Burak Çakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission. The Saudi Arabian fashion industry is expected to go from strength to strength, with reports predicting that retail fashion sales in the Kingdom will soar to USD32 billion by 2025.
