The suhoor and iftar invites have already started piling up for Ramadan. Make sure you’re well wardrobed with our edit of fashionable favourites for the Holy Month…

There’s less than one week to go before Ramadan starts and a cohort of regional and international designers have already released capsule collections for the Holy Month.

Burberry has dipped into the archives for an eclectic range of Italian-made silks – set to be the perfect gifting idea for Ramadan. Whether for your loved ones (or yourselves), some of the brand’s iconic motifs are echoed through ready-to-wear, silk scarves, footwear and the signature TB bag.

Known for timeless conservative wear for today’s fashion-conscious woman, Saudi Arabian brand Leem has always been a purveryor of bold expression, chic in its discretion. Their latest collection sees the brand take on stylish silhouettes using colourful embroidered belts on kaftans to add a sophisticated, whimsical feel. Layering is seen throughout, with free-flowing kaftans paired with voluminous trousers, and maxi dresses worn under trench coats.

The Modist Ramadan

The Modist has exclusively joined forces with a curated selection of international and regional brands for Ramadan. The luxury e-commerce site commissioned the labels (of which are already available online) to create unique designs for the Holy Month – most of them merging elegance and contemporary aesthetics with tradition. As to who you can expect to shop from, the list is endless and includes names such as Roksanda, Ingie Paris, Dima Ayad, Rami Al Ali and Bedouin.

Tasyourah By Symphony

One of the UAE’s home-grown luxury multi-brand concepts, Symphony, is launching its fourth annual pre-Ramadan exhibition, and you’ll be able to find the perfect kaftan, accessory or footwear to complete your Ramadan looks. Titled Tasyourah by Symphony, the exhibition will feature designs by renowned regional and international designers including Bouguessa, Bint Thani, L’Afshar and Amal Al Mulla.

Ingie Paris

A renowned designer blossoming from the region, Ingie Chalhoub has created an exclusive collection of limited edition kaftans for the Holy Month. Set under her label Ingie Paris, the collection boasts a contemporary take on a classic silhouette that was inspired by the late fashion icon, Jackie Kennedy and her effortless ensembles that echo the spirit of the ’70s.

Max Mara

Whilst the Max Mara Group are known for their minimal designs, Italian heritage and sophisticated silhouettes, there are a few ensembles that would make the perfect Ramadan outfit. From florally-printed maxi dresses to monochrome metallics and midnight-blue gowns, discover Max Mara’s Ramadan edit above. Plus, there are some headscarves, footwear and achingly cool handbag offers to complete your looks, too.

To celebrate the holy month, Sandro has created a Ramadan edit that includes pieces from its S/S19 collection, alongside its new capsule collection created exclusively for the Middle East. The edit exudes elegance as it merges both tradition and glamour in the form of pleated skirts, classic white shirts, printed dresses and statement blazers – perfect for layering and mismatching.
