Inspired by joy itself, the Prada Holiday Collection is definitely cause for celebration
Winter is coming! Prada is celebrating the fast-approaching festive season with its Holiday 2021 collection which is positively bursting with uplifting sequins, metallics and crystals. Unveiled alongside the Prada Holiday campaign, dubbed A Midwinter’s Night Dream, the collection was inspired by celebration and a dreamy winter wonderland. While those of us living in the Middle East may not experience the traditional winter wonderland with powdery peaks and fresh snow, Prada allows us to live vicariously with a collection that’ll have you shining brighter than a Christmas bauble (in the very best way, of course).
Throughout ready-to-wear and accessories, the predominantly monochrome palette is interrupted by splashes of pastel hues including a sequinned purple cardigan and pink tulle midi skirt. Accessories are loud and proud with Prada’s signature silhouettes revamped for the holiday season. Think: bejewelled bucket hats, crystal-embellished sandals and a pearl-studded Prada Cleo.
The campaign film, captured by Glen Luchford, follows actors Julia Garner, Shira Haas, Louis Partridge and Taylor Russell as they traverse a snow-covered Los Angeles towards a joyous gathering; the definition of the festive season. Shop Now
