Pink is coming in hot and heavy for spring and now’s the time to wear it loud and proud.
While the spring/summer collections embraced optimism for 2021 with a rainbow of bold and bright hues, there was one that reigned supreme among all others: pink. The brighter the better, designers are delivering joy through an explosion of the watermelons, hot pinks and fuchsias that took over the season’s catwalks, with neon powersuits at Balmain, wafty maxis at Jason Wu and sheer asymmetrical dresses at Stella McCartney.

While Chanel and Valentino both opted for pinks that were softer yet no less impactful – with the former delivering a punchy line of denim jackets, skirts and slouchy trews – there’s no denying it’s bold Barbie pinks that are leading the pack this year, so be sure to reach for the shade whenever you want to make a statement.
