Oscar de la Renta's ultra-luxe new sleepwear line is a collection you never knew you needed...
Let's face it. Everyone (and we mean, everyone) is a sucker for a cute silk pyjama set. The sleepwear trend has come and gone through a wave of celebrities and fashionable or not, who can say no to being comfortable and stylish while going to work, school, or just running errands?
There's been a repertoire of designers who have tested the waters with sleepwear style (which are carried throughout all seasons). From fashion houses including Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Marc Jacobs, it seems like yet another luxury label has opted to give sleepwear a stylish new makeover.
News has emerged that Oscar de la Renta just launched a new sleepwear line and will be introduced as part of the brand's Spring 2019 collection.
Crafted in Italy with the finest silks and Chantilly laces, the pieces were reinterpreted from Oscar de la Renta's ready-to-wear collection. In addition to that, the silhouettes featured prints exclusively for the sleepwear line.
Ranging from chemises to night dresses, camisoles to robes and pyjama sets to caftans, the pieces "are designed for relaxing or entertaining at home."
As for the face of the collection? Oscar de la Renta tapped Puerto Rican supermodel Joan Smalls. Browse through the campaign imagery here...
