The Valentino menswear and haute couture shows will no longer be taking place this summer

Following the departure of creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentino has announced that it will not present a menswear collection or haute couture collection in June 2024. In a statement, Valentino shared that the decision comes after "the latest organisational announcement regarding the Maison’s creative direction." The menswear show was originally scheduled to take place in Milan during Men's Fashion Week, while Paris Haute Couture Week had been moved forward to June as Paris will be hosting the 2024 Olympic Games in July.

"Creativity will continue to lead the company as a key pillar, shaping new future collections in both women's and men's ready-to-wear and haute couture, elevating the brand's DNA, its iconic codes and unrivalled Italian heritage," reads the rest of the statement.

After 25 years at Valentino, beginning as an accessories designer in 1999 and later working alongside Maria Grazia Chiuri, Pierpaolo Piccioli broke the internet with the announcement that he and Valentino would be parting ways. The Maison revealed that a new creative director will be announced soon.
