The luxury brand consultant talks style with MOJEH.com

MOJEH.com meets Dubai-based luxury brand consultant Narimane Kurdi to talk work style, game changing fashion and her most prized wardrobe possessions.

How would you describe your style code?

Glamorous, eclectic, accessorised and tailored. There's a little bit of structure but also fluidity with fabrics.

Who are your favourite designers of the moment?

Temperley London, Jimmy Choo, Stella McCartney, YSL and Chanel.

How old were you when your style really came into it’s own?

I became very inspired by my mother and her style when I was 13 years old. I inherited Moschino and Sergio Rossi shoes at that time, I was over the moon!

What was your game changing decade in fashion?

I really get my inspiration through my travels and seeing young stylish girls all over the world. I'm inspired by how they wear things and how they're excited about fashion. I see that more and more on the streets now because I think fashion has become much more mass and commercial. And a lot of that has to do with e-commerce.

What have you learned most about your style as you’ve evolved?

Staying true to myself and my personality is what makes my style standout and remain authentic.

What was your top trend of A/W15?

The Eighties Revival; Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain show was one big fashion throwback, with power shoulders, ruffles and big retro belts.

What’s your go-to outfit for a day at the office?

An oversized jacket on the shoulders, a pencil skirt and killer shoes, which I always style with a statement bag and seasonal accessories. I always opt for something glamorous and comfortable.

What are your most prized wardrobe possessions?

A beautiful Valentino dress my husband bought me on our trip to Sardinia, a Cartier necklace that was also a gift from him on the day I got the keys to my office and Aquazzura shoes that I bought when I landed my first project.

What are your beauty bag essentials?

My Perfume of the season, Diptyque hand cream, Guerlain blush, MAC eyeliner, Dior lipstick and YSL Touche Éclat.
