Saint Laurent's newly renovated flagship is an artistic marble-dominated space, lies somewhere between a store and a museum. In tune with the brand’s minimal aesthetic with immense architectural clarity and sleek designs, the store's concept was inspired by the early 20 Century French Modernist movement, based on the principles of the Union des Artistes Modernes, that realises simplicity and quality of the components of a space. The mirror finishing against the “blanc statuaire” and “noir soie” marble set amongst dark quilted-leather upholstery and suspended brass hang bars, has Slimane’s rock-chic imprint all over it.

Standing proudly as the region’s largest flagship store for Saint Laurent, the Mall of Emirates space decorated with Slimane’s handpicked treasures, is dedicated to women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and accessories. The designer famously relocated his Parisian atelier to  Los Angeles in 2012, and what better testament to his Southern Californian influence than the "Surf and Sound" Cruise 2016 collection, available in stores right now, inspired by the heatwave of the deserts to the sprawling beaches from his neighbourhood.
