Designed to support, nurture and promote fashion talents from across the MENA region, Malone Souliers’ new capsule with Fashion Trust Arabia is a step in the right direction
Middle Eastern fashion talent is some of the most diverse and revolutionary in the world, so it’s no surprise that Malone Souliers has chosen to team up with Fashion Trust Arabia to create a capsule collection inspired by the region’s unique architecture and vibrant colours. The Marla comes reimagined in Fashion Trust Arabia’s eye-catching hue, crafted in both a distinctive pink and deep blue, with the laser-cut oriental star motif that is the Fashion Trust Arabia’s logo.
“I am so inspired by the beautiful style and unique creativity in the Middle East,” says designer Mary Alice Malone. “That is why I am immensely proud to be able to support young artists in the region, I call them artists because what they make is art.” The Malone Souliers x Fashion Trust Arabia campaign features regional creatives including singer/songwriter Layla Kardan, content creator Fay Ezzat, television presenter Enjy Kiwan and designer Yasmin Al Mulla, as photographed by Sam Rawadi.
The stunning collaboration doesn't just look good, either. 40 per cent of the proceeds will be donated to Fashion Trust Arabia's non-profit to support the new generation of fashion designers. To be honest, we can’t think of a better reason to shop a new pair of shoes than that. This collection will be available on malonesouliers.com and at Level Shoes, The Dubai Mall and Villaggio Mall, Doha.
